Bitcoin Core 32.1 ships new transaction relay queue and parallel block validation
- —Relay queue is now shared across the node instead of per-peer
- —Default relay limit is 14 tx/s, with 2.5x for relay peers
- —Block validation reads prevouts in parallel with 8 workers by default, up to 16
- —A medium-severity memory exhaustion bug on non-Linux systems was fixed in 29.5–32.1
Why it matters: The release cuts memory and CPU load during peak traffic but does not alter consensus or directly affect BTC price.
