Bitcoin Core 32 GUI breaks multisig signing with older nodes as fix slips to 32.1
- —Older Core wallets throw an unsupported-version error when loading PSBT v2 from the 32.0 GUI
- —Workaround: create PSBT v0 via RPC using psbt_version=0 with walletcreatefundedpsbt or createpsbt
- —Fix deferred to 32.1 because 32.0 was overdue and no backportable patch was ready
- —joinpsbts and external signing software without v2 support also reject the files
Why it matters: Mixed-version multisig wallets risk stalling on signing until 32.1 ships, forcing users to fall back to RPC workarounds.
