DAC8 from 2027: crypto exchanges to report user trades to tax authorities
- —First reporting for 2026 is due to BZSt by July 31, 2027
- —Reported data includes name, address, tax ID and annual totals
- —Wallet addresses and individual transactions are excluded
- —BZSt stores data for 10 years and shares it with other EU states
Why it matters: For the first time, data on all exchange clients, not just suspicious ones, goes to the state, raising leak and privacy risks.
