Coinbase website blocked in Taiwan by court order
- —Block in effect since October 14 Taipei time
- —Order cites the Election and Recall Act, case No. 55
- —Polymarket was blocked under the same mechanism earlier
- —Whether the Coinbase app and API are affected is unclear
Why it matters: Taiwanese users lose access to Coinbase, and the move extends a pattern of blocking prediction markets tied to elections.
