Coinbase to delist USDT, DAI and PYUSD for EEA clients by October 30
- —Trading and swapping of USDT, PYUSD, DAI, PAX, GUSD and GYEN is already disabled for EEA accounts
- —Only withdrawals to external addresses remain open until October 30, 2026
- —Coinbase will automatically convert leftover balances into USDC after the deadline
- —Deposits of delisted tokens sent after October 30 will not be credited
Why it matters: USDT, the largest stablecoin at roughly $184 billion, loses access to Coinbase's EEA user base, strengthening USDC and squeezing Tether liquidity in Europe.
