US DOJ dismantles Telegram marketplace Xinbi, seizes $52 million

The US Department of Justice has shut down the Chinese-language Telegram marketplace Xinbi Guarantee and seized more than $52 million in cryptocurrency in a single day. A court approved blocking the channels on September 7, 2026; OFAC designated Xinbi as a transnational criminal organization. Total seizures by the Scam Center Strike Force since November 2025 have reached $938 million.
