Binance to support USDT contract swap on Optimism from September 17
- —From September 17 at 10:00 (UTC+8), Binance suspends USDT deposits and withdrawals on Optimism
- —The contract swap will be carried out at a 1:1 ratio
- —The old USDT token on Optimism will receive the ticker OPUSDTE
- —Spot, margin, futures and Binance Earn are unaffected during the swap
Why it matters: Holders of USDT on Optimism do not need to do anything, but deposits and withdrawals on that network are temporarily unavailable.
