Splash patches Cardano exploit, but 2.4M ADA is gone and OADA holders are stuck
- —The attacker withdrew 2,434,648 ADA and 1,988,222 OADA in two transactions on September 13
- —The net ADA loss, accounting for the attacker's deposit, was 2,424,778
- —After the drain, the pool held 10 ADA and about 1.44 million OADA
- —Optim Finance paused its protocol, and OADA cannot be swapped for ADA
Why it matters: OADA holders cannot exit the token: a code patch does not restore liquidity, and without it the pool cannot be restarted.
