Cashu team builds Internet Mint Finder on Nostr

  • —The directory uses NIP-87: kind 38172 for mint announcements and kind 38000 for user reviews
  • —Cashumints.space tracked 63 mints as of October 5, 2026, with 34 online and 962 reviews logged
  • —The cashu.me web wallet already offers mint discovery and ratings based on Nostr data
  • —No token is attached: Cashu has no traded asset of its own
Why it matters: Standardized mint reviews could reduce trust risk in the Cashu ecosystem, though the IMF must prove it adds value beyond existing directories.
