Glassnode: bitcoin holds after CLARITY Act failure, but demand stalls
- —BTC fell 4.6% over the week and trades near $76,000, below the True Market Mean of $76,700
- —On September 9 it closed below that line for the first time; another break risks a drop to $71,300
- —About $334 million was withdrawn from bitcoin ETFs from September 8-14 after $1 billion in inflows earlier in the month
- —Corporate BTC purchases over 3 months totaled just 5,900 coins versus 89,000 in July 2025
Why it matters: The market is in wait-and-see mode: without fresh inflows and with corporates' average cost at $80,500, the risk of a slide below $71,300-65,000 is growing.
