Ethereum Developers Cancel Oct. 26 Glamsterdam Upgrade on Hoodi
- —Glamsterdam hard fork will not activate on Hoodi on Oct. 26
- —Node operators are advised to use software without the scheduled fork
- —No date has been set for Glamsterdam activation on Ethereum mainnet
Why it matters: The cancelled testnet fork delays the mainnet upgrade and pushes back changes to Ethereum's consensus and gas model.
