Aztec Connect attacker launders 1,255.8 ETH through Tornado Cash

  • —30 deposits: 12 of 100 ETH, 5 of 10 ETH, 5 of 1 ETH and 8 of 0.1 ETH
  • —Original haul was 908.987 ETH plus DAI, wstETH and Yearn vault tokens, worth about $2.19 million
  • —After roughly four months, vault tokens were redeemed for another 346.767 ETH
  • —Balances of all six stolen ERC-20 tokens are now zero
Why it matters: The case shows funds from older exploits are still being laundered through mixers, and flaws in abandoned contracts remain a live risk.
