Telegram Adds Crypto Wallet Balance Card to User Profiles

  • —Wallet card with balance and address is visible to anyone viewing the profile
  • —Card is not shown if the balance is below 0.1 GRAM
  • —Feature is available only in the iOS beta version of Telegram
  • —The 'Деньги' wallet runs on the TON blockchain with the GRAM currency
Why it matters: Public balance display simplifies in-app transfers but exposes users' crypto holdings to anyone viewing their profile.
