BTC near $83K: weekly ETF outflows hit $701.6M as perp traders and ETF holders sold
- —Weekly US spot BTC ETF netflow swung to -$701.6M from +$117.9M the prior week
- —Perpetual CVD fell to -$681.8M from $49.5M; long-side funding payments dropped 25.8% to $945K
- —Futures open interest held near $36.7B, at the top of its range
- —Over 70% of BTC supply remains in profit, with new capital inflows still above their high band
Why it matters: ETF outflows and heavy perp selling cooled momentum, but continued on-chain capital inflows and broad holder profitability are keeping the market supported for now.
