ENSv2 Activation Proposal Would Halt New ENSv1 Registrations

  • —New ENSv1 registrations would stop once ENSv2 activates
  • —Existing .eth holders get no migration deadline
  • —ENS Labs to transfer remaining ENSv2 admin roles to the DAO
Why it matters: The move shifts ENS governance and registration to v2 without forcing current .eth owners to migrate.
