ERC-8350 proposal brings a privacy-preserving agent memory registry to Ethereum
- —ERC-8350 records only cryptographic commitments to agent memory, never raw data, keys or salts
- —Updates are wrapped in an ExperienceDelta with spaceId, sequence, prevStateRoot and deltaCommitment fields
- —Each transition gets an EIP-712 Transition ID; out-of-sequence updates are rejected
- —A reference Solidity implementation, AgentMemoryStateRegistry.sol, ships with a canonical v1 test vector
Why it matters: The standard gives AI agents a verifiable onchain memory history without revealing its contents, laying groundwork for audits and cross-service trust.
